Well it's February 20th 2007.

On Saturday 17th Lynn and I booked to go round the world. We booked through STA Travel for the sum of £1,300!

STA Travel are fantastic and I would highly reommend them to anyone reading this.

We fly out on June 18th, 2 days after my Mums 60th which will now act as a bit of a going away party as well! From London we fly to Bangkok, travel overland for 3 months taking in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malasysia.

We fly from Singapore to Cairns and then travel down the East Coast to Sydney - hopefully in a VW campervan! We'll probably head down to Melbourne as well.

We intend to book an internal flight to Perth from Sydney and check out the West Coast for a week or two. We then fly from Sydney to Auckland. We'll spend between 6 and 7 weeks in Oz.

We'll travel round NZ by campervan again. They are pretty cheap to rent and mean you can go wherever you want and stay wherever you want. We'll drive right round the country and probably get up to all kinds of adventure stuff.

Lynn's parents may come out and meet us at this point.

After 3 or 4 weeks in New Zealand we fly to Fiji for two weeks in paradice, then back to New Zealand and out to Santiago in Chile. We intend to spend around 5.5 months travelling round South America taking in Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil and Argentina. Hopefully we will learn some Spanish on the way!
